This contemporary residence is defined by openness, restraint, and a strong connection between structure and material. Organized around a double-height living space, the interior balances warmth and minimalism, allowing light, proportion, and materiality to shape the experience of the home. MICRO was engaged to deliver interior finishes that support the architectural clarity of the space while performing at a high level for daily living.

MICRO finishes were specified across walls, floors, and select ceilings to create a calm, continuous backdrop throughout the open-plan interior. Subtle texture and soft tonal variation help diffuse natural light and maintain visual consistency across large surface areas. The restrained palette allows wood elements and furnishings to introduce warmth without disrupting the overall simplicity of the design.

Flooring plays a key role in unifying the home, extending seamlessly through living, dining, and kitchen areas to reinforce flow and spatial continuity. Finishes were selected for durability, ease of maintenance, and a refined matte appearance that complements both daylight and artificial lighting.

In private spaces and bathrooms, MICRO finishes continue the project’s emphasis on simplicity and precision. Monolithic surfaces and carefully resolved details create environments that feel calm, functional, and enduring—reflecting MICRO’s commitment to craftsmanship, longevity, and material integrity.
